Not sure where to plug this one in so I'll start here. This was made for a 72 with a front AC condenser to fill the hole. Most of the time an oil cooler is installed but he did not feel the need so this was the alternative. The side covers will be polished stainless steel are not finish as of today. You can se one side templet laying on the transaxle.

A primer shot of the center louver assembly build-up. The side lips are where the SS shields fit. They can be attached with screws, Velcro or two sided tape---not sure how we'll be doing it right now. The green tape is the stainless trim line the shield follows. This assembly is just to eliminate the fan and condenser housing and clean up the look while keeping the are moving.

The louver is from a rear screen replacement part I built in 1981. Came in handy for this.

This was a one-off but now that I've built one, there may be a simpler way to build a production version. And a production version would offer a SS center option without holes for those who may want to cut holes for center exiting 180s. It would give you a finished covered internal solution. Am building another one in December with a larger louver and that would be a production version and will re-post it on this thread.

Kirk I have a problem with that lower pic...

I get dizzy looking at it trying to determine is it real or reflection!

3-D sunglasses and you'll be good.

Just to stay on track, the left shield has a right mirror image mate but you have to remove the swirl tank. My solution is a single tank with 2 caps---one for the over flow and the canter one is the pressure side. The tank has a center fill tube inside the main tank---a 2 in 1 approach.

You can see the tank top in the shot below. By the way the top right side cover hole has a fitted pop up lid similar to the one I built for Dan Jones's car---will see if I have a picture to post.

I can not seem to get the picture to post correctly, sorry.
