How difficult is it to switch an internal fuel filler car to the external style assuming I have all the parts from an external fuel filler car? Are the tanks themselves different? Thanks.

...Get out the SawsAll!!! You just rotate the filler neck 90 degrees on the 4 bolt pattern and it points outside. Go to batinc.com for the Aircraft Filler cap and funnel for 2" hose. You'll also have to Mill the Outside, Black Accent 'Gill'. I have Milled them in the Past for People for a Fair cost. Have Fun!! I'll post pictures, but don't remember taking any of the actual 'Cutting' of the Body...
...Or Look for a replacement gill with the 'Gas Door', but you still have to do some cutting to make things fit. Good-Luck with it...
Actually, my '73 car is an external fill car, so I have the correct gill. I may have to cut the car though.

Fuel filler caps (aero), Web site looks kind of cheesy but the product quality is excellent, good stuff. The “Aero 300” fits the shock opening perfectly…. 3.70”, some have went with bigger. Do not even think about using one of those Aston/Monza caps on your Pantera as it is a violation of the basic “Man Laws”
