I am getting out of the documentation business. As a result, I have a deal for all of you folks running 4.6 or 5.4 DOHC conversions! OR Ford MAF conversions on a Cleveland! You would need the year for your ECM.
I have a limited number of the factory Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis shop manuals for various years. These books cover the codes for your "CEL" or check engine light conditions when the computer has detected something amiss and the diagnosis troubleshooting trees to help with finding the problem. They are really well written and I have used them to troubleshoot problems with my own cars, and have saved literally thousands of dollars over the last 10 years! Shotgunning parts don't get it anymore!!! "Shells are expensive!" Helps to get the codes down and get the diagnosis right the first time!
You can pick up good code readers from AutoXray now for under $100 that help with the process.
They also work GREAT for making jumper harnesses to fool out the computer when you want to remove all sorts of thingys and twangers from your engine without running around with a CEL lamp on all the time!!!
Note that these books also apply to Lincoln Navigators, Expeditions, Cobra Mustangs, F150's, F250's (gas only), Mercury Marquis, Crown Vic's.
I am offering these up for $35 2007-2000, $25 for 1999 and earlier, plus shipping. There are a couple of years that are two binders that may need to go Fed Ex Gnd. Most are single year binder that can go in a Large USPS Flat Rate box for $14. Media rate may be only a little cheaper at about $8, but I only charge actual shipping depending on what year you get and how big it is!
I currently have the following years: 2006 2005 2004 2003 2002 2001 1999 1998 1997 1996 1995 1994 1993 1992 1991 1990 1989 1988 1987 1986. I have a few older ones but they are not for MAF controlled engines, so there isn't much demand for them....and I will be scrapping them.
