Ford Falcon XA GT 351 Coupe - MAD MAX eat your heart out!

G'Day!!

I sold my beloved Pantera, not for any reason other than ive owned 3 awesome Pantera's over a 17 year period and now "ive been there and done that" ... so now moving on to fund my Aussie XA Coupe Build.

The reason i am posting this on here is that, the Aussie musclecars sort of are a distant cousin to the Pantera in that some of them share the same heart, that is: a 351 Cleveland!!

So here is my XA Coupe Build "in Progress" ... but i am getting rid of the 351C for a 900HP Ford Big Block, complete with big tubs and 18" wide Mickey Thompson's!!

Just try and drag this beast on the freeway you imports!! haha!

Hi Laslo. Sad to see you let the "Wild Pantera" go. I still remember seeing it in person when I was in Brisbane a few years ago; thanks.

It appears we have similar taste in cars. I love the XA/B/C Coupes as well.

How many inches did you narrow the differential to fit those tires?

You also had to tub the inner wheels wells.

I'd enjoy seeing photos of the trunk area showing the tubbed trunk

Gday! Yes its got big tubs and the chassis rails have been moved in 7" and diff shortened 7". Ive got pics of the tubs, will dig them up and post later. The leaf springs are gone and its currently getting a 4-link installed. Yes they look similar to a Torino!

Now that XA is going to be one nice ride! Why only 900hp? HAHA! Love that motor! I think you'll need bigger tires even with only 900hp. Great looking car. That definitely reminds me of the Torino's in the US. Keep posting those pictures.

As a kid I always wanted an XA / XB Coupe or an A9X Torana. The XA/XB/XC were the last of the good Fords built in AU (in my opinion) but the coupes always looked as though they needed to get more rubber filling those enormous arches....

Looks like you've got that covered there.

Haha thanks guys. Wild P went to japan! Wish i could have kept it but i owned it for 12years and drive it a lot and had more than my fair share of fun with it, was an awesome car tho and now someone else can enjoy it. I had a Torana Hatchback which i recently sold. Have a Hemi-Cuda as well as the XA

Sorry to dissapoint ya, but my cuda is a 383 Cuda, but has a big block hemi, pistol grip 4spd, dana60, rally dash and is also tubbed to fit bigger wheels. Not adopting any grown men at this stage as i have a new born son now haha!
