OMG, doing a light Eagle1 spray detailer on my car today I can't believe how thin the hood is! There already is a microscopic dent where someone put the support rod into the hood to hold it up even though there was no rubber stop in the hood or on the end of the rod. Which should it be? On the female end (hood) or the male end (support rod)? I know I can't use something as a temporary fix, but what is supposed to be there? Can anyone show a picture? Are they available at a vendor? For what - like $25?
