depends on how much power you are making. basically can the std fuel line suck enough fuel flow to feed your engine at full power ?? if not then yes. When we build cars we usually use 1/2 fuel lines and fittings for 500 hp.
It was suggested that i should go bigger then 3/8". I was told that my motor will do a little over 550hp. What kind of sending unit should i use? is there a model number?
Also after much discussion with Mr Finch way back when, He had the right idea. I added a connection from under the tank using the drain plug hole. I can’t remember the fitting Number I used.. it’s a curved fitting from a Porsche oil cooler. And it’s the same as an AN fitting. I left the old line as a breather… Plenty of ground clearance.. Bring the plug to good High performance shop and find a fitting your happy with. (586Hp)
