Can anyone confirm that these Universal joints are exactly the same as the Triumph TR6 bottom steering joint Knuckle.

They are both 80mm long
Have a hole diameter of 14mm
But I can't count the splines on my TR6, the Pantera has 36 splines.

I'm almost certain that they are identical, therefore pretty cheap to replace if they are.

The problem reported with the aftermarket FR u-joints is the setscrew clamping force and backing out, so thread lock them in.

The original design is a split joint with the through bolt which has much greater clamping force. On a full round shaft these are also more easily clocked on a spline and don't have to worry about the setscrew binding on splines and burring them.
