Thanks Mike, I am now back on the soap box!
Too little too late. This is just political pandering to the unions. The jobs are already lost.
And sadly millions of US manufacturing jobs have been lost because of Chinese crap for almost 2 decades. The shame and blame is on both sides of the aisle on this issue.
Trying not to purchase a product made in friggin China is now virtually impossible.
I'm with you! Friggin Impossible!
Watch what you eat! Went to buy Garlic Powder, Product of USA/CHINA!
What the hell, we grow garlic over here in Gilroy Calif.! Do we really need to send it to China first, then back to us? God knows what they do to it first?
Back to the fresh stuff!

I remember 15-20 years ago Wally World had a big Made in USA slogan. My textile job left 20 years ago too. Things change ...you can bet on that..If you can figure whats next you could profit.. any ideas?quote:Originally posted by Polymath:
It's our desire for cheap goods & decent profits, Walmart is basically a giant Shrine to China... Almost everything in the damn place is made in China.
