Just as a point of interest, below is identical to my daily driver. Do you get these stateside? And if you do, what do you call them - I get confused when it comes to Accura. Over here, this is a 1991 Honda Prelude 2.2 SI VTEC H22A etc etc. It's pretty quick and totally reliable anyways.

Phil, we got the same car here and it was also branded a Honda Prelude. We get a couple of NA-market only Acura cars (RSX, TL), but others (RL, NSX) are Honda branded cars elsewhere in the world. Works both ways because the Accord that you get (5-door) is not imported to NA and I think your Civic is also different.

It's a great car with a lot of great qualities, but not a Pantera.

I'll get another Pantera one day, but this time to add to my garage so it won't be my daily driver....

Eventually the NSX will transform into this and continue to be my daily driver...

Hey Coz, you're thinking just like me. Only the daily driver I just bought is a little less exotic. 1996 Nisaan 300ZX twin turbo. I'm going to try to build it to about 500hp. I'd love to see pix of the NSX as you do the upgrade! I can get 20 mpg if I stay out of the turbos.

The NSX will make a very cool daily driver. I just bought a BMW 328i to be my daily driver and love it! Inexpensive, plenty of room for the family, great on gas (32mpg hwy, daily avg 24.9mpg)

Garth, he just got feed up fixing an old junker like the Pantera and he wanted a car that he could count on everyday. That is why Japaneese cars took over anyway. No one like hondas. They just drive them so they can get to work and earn a living. But Coz kept the car in the family by giving it to Joules.

Nice car, but if you wanted a modern performance car with lots of aftermarket parts available why didn't you go for a Subaru STI? 600 HP + AWD. And looks obviously weren't a priority for you so the Subie is perfect!

Joules and I are waiting for the gearbox tro come back so I can put it back in for the 4th time in the last 6 months.....

Then Joules will be taking it home & stopping at most of the gas stations along the way....

It's going to a great home and as was said, a family member...

The European Honda Accord is the US Acura TSX. Also, Tom T helped design the interior of the Euro Civic.
