I'm having trouble with my switch...no high beam..when switching to low... no lites....I have a horn ......directional signals....but no high beam.....do I need a new switch...? Russ
He did mine a couple of years ago. Turned out to be a broken spring and a burnt contact. He rebuilt the whole switch and had it bak to me in about a week.
If just the high beams don't work, check for power at fuses #1 & 2. If that checks ok, then it's either the headlight bulbs or the wiring / connectors between the fuse panel and the headlights. Left and right high beams are fused separately. Low beams are also fused separately...total of four fuses (#1,2,5,6) for the headlights.
If you have no lights, check the headlight switch.
You can also make voltage checks at the molex type connector for the hi/lo beam switch.

Husker, I just noticed my highbeams out (went to Reidsville Friday night gathering). What is the solution? I'm pretty sure its my turnsignal stalk switch.
