Adjusted mine last night and this morning they all seem to be out of adjustment? My way of this thought is the push rods are able to spin easily with the fingers. Will the lifter leak down this much over night? and if so how do I know that the lifters are pumped up enough to adjust the valves. The motor hasn't run in about 1 month. I tighten the adjusting nut till the push rod won't turn then give it a half turn more. ( roller rockers)

Dorsey, especially if you're running fast-bleed lifters, it is VERY difficult to cold-adjust the valves on a hydraulic-cam 351C. I get them 'close' as you describe, then start the engine with one rocker cover off and readjust for 'no noise' plus 1/2 turn at idle. Makes a royal mess with oil flying everywhere, smoking headers etc, but it's the only way I've found that always works. I let things cool down a bit before doing the second side, due to the possibility of flash- fires off the headers and the pain from hot oil on my arms....
