I have no idea what that is. I have taken my Pantera completely apart and did not see that part. I am very interested in what it is. Larry
..fun to take guesses---but its clearly a sensor, no threads means that whatever it was used for isn't pressurized...so I'd narrow down to either a level sensor or an aquarium heater
Maybe someone had a aquarium installed in the passenger seat, you never know?
With no apparent openings, that is, a closed unit, I suspect it is a probe for temperature. But not the temperature probe used on an OEM evaporator.
does this car have aftermarket AC?

No..
i don’t recall ever seeing this thing… but it was in one of my parts boxes…
I don't think its a Pantera part. My guess (if its a car part at all- no guarantee) is a part of some A/C for anti-icing.
Thank you very much to everybody… I just put it aside and if I find a place, I’ll let you guys know, but I don’t think so! Do not know how the thing got into that box..
is there any part #, which might let you find the set temp. that might help figure where it goes.

You found it… that’s gonna cost you… a Hot Dog!!👍
