Information on 2863

I bought Pantera # 2863 as a wreck in 1992. I've never had any information on the prior owners and where the car came from. When I purchased the car, it had California (Los Angeles area) registration and was painted black. It was an original yellow car. The engine and trans had been gone through (I believe by Nist and Butfoy) 935 miles before I got the car.
I would really appreciate any information on this car. Happy New Year to all.
