"The cockpit was for myself "Claustrophobic" and driver's visibility limited...still kinda regret not buying the Lola!!!..."

At 6'1" and 220lbs, I had no problems fitting in, seeing from, and racing my Lola T70 back in 1972, and I still kinda regret selling it to buy a Brabham BT40 FB.......

"Reasonably Priced???!!!" the engine DOESN'T even have a distributor!!!

The Lola T70 I was looking to buy had a Brand NEW ZF type 2 transmission, only the body, a rolling frame, a 1985 Corvette 350 engine & suspension parts, 180 headers & 2 correct bellhousings for $12,000.00 Cash.

The coveted Lola T70 replicas are built by RCR ...

The Lola T70 you posted is worth 1/2 of the listed price!!!...

"Zip Ties" are NOT racing approved as evidenced by the liberal usage in the Lola T70 for sale.

I can understand your "seller's remorse" in regards to you parting with your Lola T70.

Was your's a Marauder replica?...and if so, your driving impressions/experiences with the Marauder.

Did the chassis FLEX at high speeds?

What steering/braking/suspension/engine did you utilize?

The RCR replicas have a BEAUTIFULLY built aluminum monocoque frame.

Here's a website dedicated to various replicas.

The Lola T70 lounge forum is VERY interesting!...ENJOY!...Mark

Indeed the Lola T70 lounge is a VERY interesting resource for real T70s (as mine was) as well as replicas.
A few years ago this post in the lounge by Mike Drew featured more photos of my Lola, and his last post referenced a (no longer working) link to RM Auctions/France (pictured below) where it sold for 806,000 Euros shortly thereafter.

John Starkey's 1997 Lola T70 book covers more of SL73/111's early history on page #146, and this link contains more of my Lola photos, as well as my other real racers......
Enjoy!...Ron
