I'm going to buy a new (NOT OEM) master brake cylinder from PanteraEast. This is a 2-step master available in 1" bore (for stock brake systems) or 1-1/8" bore, if you're running Wilwoods or other "race-style" higher volume calipers. It includes the reservoir and a billet adapter to mount to the existing booster and necessary harware. You DO have to re-flare the connections, because this cylinder uses standard (not SI) fittings. If I can get FOUR more orders, we can save at least 10% off the $250 price.

what about the connections? are those different size so you have to re-flare? thanks.
Mark:

Have you done the Corvette retrofit master brake cylinder? No adapter (cylinder to booster) required? Any pictures? I assume re-flaring is required (as is the case for the PanteraEast item).

All: Keep in mind, the $250 price that PanteraEast gets includes a polished cast aluminum master with billet/logo adapter. This may not be of any importance to some, but we KNOW it works. Check out Chuck Melton's posting. He's selling one of these.
