Motor Mounts

Hi, I've just re-installed the engine in #5761 and I noticed that the way I installed the motor mounts is different than the picture shown on page 21-22-05 of the Tech. Information manual. Right or wrong, I put them in the way I found them.

I have one rubber donut placed against the lower aluminum bracket. The upper side of this donut rests against the bottom side of the upper aluminum bracket that is bolted to the block. I have the second rubber donut inside the "pocket" of the upper bracket.

However, the manual shows both rubber donuts placed between the aluminum brackets. Feedback from you guys that have done this before would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

The way you have it is correct. Don't forget the steel spacer sleeve that goes through the middle.
