No lights and the headlights won't even come up. I cranked them up, they will go down when lights are switched off. A few weeks ago, I was removing an electronic backup camera (another story) and heard a fuse flash but did not follow it up, so I think it's connected. I see no burned fuses. Is there a hidden fuse somewhere?

I just hate electrical problems

Thank you,

If the lights go down, then there must be some power at the switch, correct?

I tested the fuses in the box, and the fuses for the low beam lights (#5 + #6) show no power at either end. So I loosened the fuse box to see the rear side and notice that those two fuses are fed by a single gray wire. This wire appears to run to the headlight motor relay as there appears to be a similar gray wire coming off the back .  I'll take your advice and see what might be going on at the relay. The light switch does activate the side running lights, so this is very mysterious. Can I test the relay somehow?

I had the same issue. I think it was the limit switch. It tested good for continuity but failed with a load on it. I figured that out by disconnecting the battery, using a jumper wire to bypass the switch and then touching the negative cable back on the battery. That way you can pull the cable back off the battery quickly so nothing gets burned up if it does power the motor. I ended up replacing both limit switches.
