Hi. Has anyone bought the stainless bumpers from Mr. Fiat? I have a 74 and have removed the L bumpers and installed the Amerisport split bumpers. I like them a lot but at some point would probably like to go with a euro L look with bumperettes on both ends of the car. I have read the panteraplace conversion article and have searched these forum posts already. I saw some talk of the Harrington Group stainless bumpers and they look like they source Mr. Fiat. I'm also looking at the aluminum versions Bob Byer's sells as they look nice as well. I prefer metal and the chrome look. Any thoughts on Mr Fiat, Harrington Group or the Pantera vendor options? PM if you prefer. Thanks!

I bought direct from the Harrington group. They are made in Vietnam. The bumpers are good quality and I am happy with them. They seem to be copied from a later year Euro car though. It took quite a bit of time with a mini grinder equipped with a flap-sanding wheel to adjust the fit to my liking. They do not fit as tight as the original early car bumpers at the outer edges. I like them for the stainless finish which matches the rest of the trim on the car.

I ended up sending one of my rears back to them due to a fitment issue with one of the mounting brackets. They quickly corrected it and sent it back. When I say quickly I mean I had the bumper back in around a week, less than 10 days. I think that would be good sending it domestically let alone to Vietnam and back.

Here are pictures from when I fit them.

I installed my polished stainless Mr. Fiat Euro bumpers a few weeks ago. I found them to be of high quality in terms of their polished finish. Be prepared for a fair amount of fettling to get them to fit your car decently. How well they fit depends a lot on your skill and time put in. Between variation of the bumpers and variations in our italian bodywork expect to put time in. I finally got tired, so the fitment on my car is passable, but not perfect.

Below are a couple pics of the front bumper. The left rear bumper took quite a bit of work, but the right only took minimal work.
