MSD Pro-Billet & 6AL loss of rev limit verification

When running a dual points distributor everything worked as advertised. Liked the rev limiter verification (audible tone & needle swing). When I swapped the OE distributor (single white signal wire) with a Pro-Billet (green & violet mag pickup) the rev limit verification stopped working. The car and tach work fine otherwise. If I unplug just the green/violet signal wires the verification works again, but obviously doesn't run.

When using the pro-billet & 6AL ignition do you give up the ability to verify the rev limit?
