I hurriedly put together a trip to Phoenix, as I had little more than a weeks notice that a great nephew was going to race the pee wee race at the supercross event held at Chase Stadium January 14th.

I contacted Coz with only a weeks notice & asked him if he could get some of the guys together so I could meet them.

Not only did he arrange to get us together, he put my son Justin and I up at his home, so we didn't have to rent a hotel room.

To start, I want to say thank you to Coz's wife Elaine for her hospitality, putting up with my late arrival Friday night. She's a great gal, hangs right in there with the gear heads when we're standing around talking about things with rubber tires propelled by gasoline engines.

Coz's youngest son Kyle, was a real trooper, he allowed me to sleep in his bed while I was there. Thank's Kyle. Coz's oldest son Ryan was also a great host, taking care of my son & I when Coz & Elaine weren't around. Coz's middle son Eric hung out with my son, played video games etc, and his daughter Kelsey was doing OK until I told her my turtle joke! Coz & Elaine are doing a great job, all 4 of their children are wonderful young people.

I was introduced to John & his wife Trish (red Pantera), to Bob (silver GTS), to Ron (RRS on the DTBB, his red Pantera is on jacks, receiving a set of 180 degre headers) and to Dave and his wife Ana (blue Pantera). I also met Rob & Dale Shewchuk.

Thanks everyone for taking time from your weekend to meet & visit. I enjoyed our time together. It means a lot to me. I had a great time. I feel my life is enriched having met each of you, no bull, from the heart. This wasn't the first time and I'm sure this shall not be the last time that I visit Phoenix.

Finally, thanks to my friend Jim Cozzolino. For everything.

Enjoy the pics everyone

Your friend on the DTBB, George

I whsh I could have been there.

I would very much like to meet you, George.

My car is currently at VPC in Phoenix getting a lot of work done and probably won't be done for 2-3 months, at least.

When she is finally out of the shop, one of the first places I am driving her is to my buddy Coz's house to hang out Big Grin

A 2 1/2 hour drive never sounded so good Wink

Adam
Yeah Brad, Dave's Pantera is a little darker blue than yours, but finished just as well, like glass, very pretty.

We had 2 Panteras that were painted bright, in your face colors, 2 that were painted "classic" silver revealing the refined tastes of the owners, and one without color at all! Ha, ha, ha, ha..........

right Coz? Wink
