First post, but not really a new enthusiast. Currenlty hip deep in the 911 world, but looking to add a Pantera at some point. Also very deep in the Calgary Sports Car Club and organizing the Solo I racing at Race City. If any Panteras are for sale locally I would sure like to hear about them. I did see a Pantera being painted at Exotic Cars some time back, when a friends 911 was in there for paint. Looked like it was a long ways from seeing the road again. Did it ever get finished, and is it owned by anyone on here?

Hi Rick,

I hope you do decide to add a Pantera to your garage. You already know the joys of power behind your back and you will definitely enjoy a Pantera. If you'd like to e-mail me (pantera01826-AT-rogers.com), I will forward your contact details to some other owners in western Canada who may be able to help you locate a car. Good luck!
Rick,
Were planning a take the kids there to see their grandparents and 2 uncles in the not distant future, say in touch, maybe we get together while we're there.

We have been talking about moving to the Vancouver area maybe in the next couple of years. Elaine being Canadian would make it easier citizenship wise for the family.

I know you would perfer it here in the winter months, but take my word for it, from late May to September, it's hotter than hell could ever be here in Arizona.

Nice Porsche by the way, have had several myself. Sold my 911C4 in 2000 to get my Pantera. Planning on keeping this one...
Rick:

I will be in Calgary with my car a number of times this coming season. Perhaps we could hook up if you are interested.

I know three Alberta Pantera owners that I could refer you to, including one based in Canmore who just purchased his car. Being fresh off the hunt, the new owner might be able to give you some advice about finding a car locally.

BTW, what model year and variant are you looking for? John Scotti in Montreal has a nice (rare) GT5 for sale, if that would interest you.

If you want to get in touch, send me an e-mail at [my initial]havlik[at]pris.ca

The P cars seem popular in Calgary, must be all that oil money!! Big Grin

Can't speak to loudly, I actually work for one of those oil companies head officed in Calgary WinkI'm just down in Reno for a couple of years doing Tech Development, so there's a good chance #7024 will be joining the Northern contingent at some point in the future.
