Is there any interest for brand new full quarter panels, doors and fenders?
I have an opportunity to have new pieces made, by one of the best sheet metal people in the US. There have been several cars, that he has rebodied at Pebble Beach, Meadowbrook, etc. He has done several Duesenburgs, Bugatti's, Locomobiles, Aircraft panels, plus outstanding streetrods. He built a streetrod body for Tom Gale, who was head of styling for Chrysler. Cars that he has fabricated are constantly in all of the auto magazines, including Streetrod, Hot Rod, etc.
Although he is a one man operation, he has agreed to take on some Pantera panel fabrication. He doesn't charge a whole lot per hour, but this is very time consuming work. It won't be cheap, but they will be the best available and no FILLER will be required, except where the new panels attach to existing sheetmetal. The panels will be made from 19GA sheetmetal, which is a bit thicker than existing sheetmetal.
