After receiving my new hub from Precision Pro-Formance I was able to mount my Momo Prototipo wheel which I think looks great - as the bezels around the gauges and the shift gate and knob are polished I guess it might look better polished or matte black but it will be fine for now.
I ordered a hub from Momo originally after speaking to their "expert" - totally wrong. Graham pantera then sent me a hub which also didn't fit - I was encouraged to pound it on - at this point I was unaware that the column has a tendency to slide inward if not held and assumed that I needed to have the lower skirt on the hub machined off so that the splines in the hub would reach the splines on the steering shaft - I had a friend machine it - I then discovered that the splines on the hub really don't fit on the shaft at all, again I was encouraged to hit it with a hammer to get it to fit - thankfully I ignored this advice and ate the cost of the Graham Pantera hub since they refused to refund me. The hub from Precision Pro-Formance fit snugly but easily over the stock shaft and looks good.
I am pleased that the original Pantera emblem fit in the horn pad for the Momo wheel.
