No Marti report for early VIN

Hi all,

I just tried to order my Marti report for VIN #THPNLK01077 and they came back and said they could only pull reports for cars sold in the US.

Is there another option to research this VIN?

Also, does anyone elses "L" in the VIN look strange? I've attached a photo.

I think the "LK" is Feb 1971 ?

I know that part, I am just curious as to the way the letter was struck on the VIN plate.

Contact Santiago in Modena, IT or go through Steve Wilkinson in CA. Santiago has all the factory records of cars sold in Europe and most of the ones for the Ford series- at least the first owner or consignee. Santiago's factory records include the original color and any optional equipment ordered on Euro cars that wasn't offered by Ford. Several people here have done this successfully.
Marti reports tend to have lots of errors on Panteras- some of which would be funny except for the guy paying for bad info with no refund.
