Yes, however, the rubber seal is absent that would cover the i9nside of the cap. The cap retains no pressure. When the expanding coolant in the tank reaches the top of the cannister, it should evacuate via the overflow hose and out the hole on top of the cap. The rubber seal will prevent this.
So it's ok if I put a new rubber seal in the cap that has no hole? The old seal came off in pieces when I removed the cap. I would rather coolant goes down the tube than out the top of the cap.
