Overhead valve 351 c

That is beautiful and crazy all at the same time. I would love to know more about that motor. The specs, the intentions for its build, how it's never been seen before? I can just picture it in the back of a Pantera topped with webbers and a bundle of snakes for exhaust.

I'm a bit foggy on this, but I vaguely recall seeing something like that at Steve Wilkinson's shop years ago. I wish I had taken photos so I could "remember" properly. Maybe someone else can confirm if I was dreaming that?

Would have been a leap to far for Ford in 1972. Today it looks like part of the evolution.

Mark, you're correct. This picture was taken yesterday at Wilkinson's shop by my friend that posted it on the FE forum.

Those timing belts are right out of the Ferrari book. I wonder of the engine would have to be removed if installed in a Pantera to service the belts LOL

Interesting retrofit, but I have to wonder as it has the oem distributor driven by a camshaft that presumably is no longer required!
