ANyone in the Vegas area know anything about my Pre-L 72 # 3190? It was last registered in 1981. PI traced it back to Mr. McLeod. I have found some very interesting things during the restoration. Some of these being:
1. Someone knew to drill the drain holes in the frame
2. It had group 4 fiberglass flares on it back then
3. It had mirrors mounted on the front fenders just behind the top of the front wheels
4. A pit pass for a race in the glove compartment
5. Evidence of some harder driving
6. Mickey Thompson front tire on it when I purchased it
7. Evidence of a roll bar in the interior (like a group 3 car)
8. What looked like a communication device (not cb radio) under the dash.
9. Cortina blades on the original cooling fan motors
10. Still had the air conditioning with it?
11. Cutout for webers in the rear decklid
12. Revson front spoiler in place when I purchased it.
13. A little toggle switch on the console in the drivers side rear by the driver's seat.
14. All stock gauges in place and functioning
15. Original glass in place.
16. Balanced halfshafts
17. The police vin verification process produced absolutely nothing.

It is truly strange as I think a dedicated race car would not have so many original itms still in place and functioning. All lights and everything are there. The car was not running when I purchased it (no engine). Is this a lot of strange stuff or is it just me?
