I can do that gladly....I also have no problem looking at the car....I can just pretty much state what I see(not being an owner and not being all that intimate with the cars yet) but I'm willing to help if you feel strongly about the car. I have a wedding to go to on Saturday perhaps I can track down the DeGonis shop then, or even Sunday, I'm free.
7001 has 2 ads in Trader Online Magazine in the classic car section. In one ad he's asking $28,000 and the other ad $30,000. No mention of a previous accident or rust. No direct link - pop up windows.

Good eye, on catching that ad. The owner really makes it look good and sound good. Some poor buyer is gonna get more than they bargained for. Or less, actually.
The trader online ad was placed on August 27, well before the last eBay auction.
It sold for the $30K buy-it-now to Neal Keith. Did anyone wind up checking this car out for or with him?
Did Neal go ahead and complete the purchase?
Neal, you out there still?

I have heard nothing further from anyone. D&D said nothing about looking at the car. I don't think Mario is still there in Queens, but I could be wrong.
No one will be able to tell anything about the car until someone sees it.
Documenting the repair with pictures would be acceptable to a lot of people.
It just doesn't make much sense at all. There was way more the $30,000 in damage on the car.
The parts must have cost double that.

There's 3 ads. The latest ad is Oct 19th. About the same time as eBay.
I emailed the Trader Mag. for info on the car!
Just got an email back form the Trader Mag. saying the car has been SOLD. Lets hope the new owner knows what he's getting!

Naw, you are wrong about that, Doug.
Bondo is pretty cheap.

Any updates on this car? Was it really in Brooklyn?

I sent a PM to Neal a couple weeks back, no response.

I was never taken up on the offer to see the car by any interested party. Is/was it really in Brooklyn???
