About 20 years ago, a friend gave me some 35mm slides that were taken by a friend of his, on a trip to Italy in 1972 or 1973. Unfortunately, I lost them before I ever had a chance to look at them. I was moving at the time and everything I owned was in boxes. About a month ago, I was going through a box of old junk when I found a box of 35mm slides !!! I immediately sent them to a photo lab to be digitized. I looked at them today, for the first time!
The photo I get the biggest kick out of is the one with the two ladder-looking-things on the ground. Apparently, during the final test drive, the cars would get driven over this thing at speed, in an attempt to expose any rattles or loose parts!
Also in the box of slides were two that were taken at the Ferrari factory. The quality of the photos is terrible but they are still fun to look at.
Enjoy!
