Technically, ALL group 4 cars should be wingless. Group 4 factory racecars and GT/4 cars were all wingless, I think.

The wings started appearing with the GT5 road cars, as did modifications like Whiplash (group 5 car) and others...

I don't think so, but the subject came up, and in such cases it is absolutely a good idea to stop for a minute and think thuroughly before proceeding. What I have planned need the wing I think. And since a friend is b uilding something similar with the duck-tail, that is out of the question.

Pantera2077 and JT Pantera - Thanks guys! I appreciate the compliments! It was a LOT of work.
pantera 2077 - The carb is a single Holley 750HP. The decklid was notched for webers when I purchased the car. I had a ram air cleaner sent from Canada so I rounded the cutout for it to fit and put in a third brake light up there. I removed the fiberglass air cleaner and went with one of those universal muscle car chrome jobs from Jegs and it works well with the elephant ear air scoops.

I think Will's car might be perfect.
