I pm'd you about your wheels? Can you share where you purchased them, @ what $, sizes and offsets. Did you have to change your studs?

I have a narrow body car and have been considering a wheel change. Your wheels polished > 18" rear and 17" fronts with the K-O's.

I will try in the next few days, but I've been working day and night and have only had a few minutes spare lately.

Mark: I only suggested that so you could help with the workload. Don't feel hurt, as you know, I've done Photoshop for you in the past too.

Garth, when I modify Ron's new photo, I'll pay attention to what I do. So much of it is almost automatic to me, it's sometimes hard to explain the steps, if that makes sense.

Dave, Ron's Hallibrand style wheels would look great on your car too. Here's an interesting article on the maker (I think they are Team III) of them.

The wheels are from Team III. They are 17X 11 rear and 17 X 8 front. I think they were around $1500 for the set. They will do whatever offset you want.I did not have to change the studs.they bolted right up and fit PERFECT! I have had them for several years and they are great!

Do you remember what you had them do with your offset specs? Looking at their tire spec for the wheels what tire sizes did you use?

Sorry but I seem to have lost the order sheet with the offsets listed. I know the rears are 6.5" bs but I can't remember the front offset. The next time I have them off,I can measuer it for you .The tires are 335/35/17 rear and 245/40/17 front. They are Michelin Pilots.

I am also running the TeamIII wheels and couldn't be happier. Mine are half-polished and have the lug covers. I'm putting flares on though, so I have to get new ones. These will be up for sale soon-ish. If you'd be interested, give me a shout. I can look up the exact offsets for you when I get home this evening if you just want offsets. I have no clearance problems.

My wheel specs:

17x11
5 on 4.5 bolt pattern
6.5" Backspacing.

Front:
17x8
5" Backspacing. Originally I did 4.5", and that pushed the front tires
out too far and damaged the fender lip. I do rub the inside at full
lock with the 5" spacing, but the inside fender is smooth and won't
hurt the tire.

No problem Ron. Sometimes it's easy and sometimes not. This one was pretty easy. Changing black to blue is hard. Changing wheels is about as easy as it is in real life!.

Ron, the picture at the very beginning of this post, was that taken at Ken Browns garage in Pa.? That looks like him standing to the left of the car. Was there a Pantera on a rotisserie in the left bay? If so, that is the car I now own. Sorry to get off topic!

Yes. It was taken at Ken's shop. That is not Ken in the picture though. The guy in the plaid shirt is Fred Terry. I'm not sure who the other guy is.
