PI Motorsports, will not be hosting a Holiday Happening this year for the first time in many moons. We have instead donated the budget to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Dyno Don Nicholson. We just didn't think this was the right time to be celebrating. We will get together again in 2009. We will miss seeing all of you. Thanks, Dave and Jerry
For those who may not be clear about the PI Motorsports (PIM) vs. Pantera International Car Club (PI) connection, the two endeavors do have similar names, but are in fact two different businesses.
Pantera International Car Club, publisher of the Pantera International magazine and supporter of many Pantera events, including the PCNC Speed Trials and the Monterey Concorso Italiano awards, is now wholly owned and operated by George Pence and his son.
PI Motorsports is a long-standing Pantera vendor, selling parts, selling cars on a commission basis, and providing mechanical service, upgrades and repairs. They also have been long-time supporters of many Pantera events, including the PCNC Speed Trials. They are the financial sponsors of this Forum, but are not moderators. The owners are Dave and Linda Adler (the most recent previous owners of Pantera International Car Club) and Jerry Sackett.
The traditional holiday gathering has been located at, and sponsored by, PI Motorsports - Dave, Linda and Jerry.
Welp, OK. TurboTim1 has an idea for those diehards that need something to do, me included. See post in events. Mark, thanks for the invite! I think the Pantera would be up to the trip, but I don't think I would be, especially my backside.
