Hi all,

It's that time of year so this years car was designed totaly by my grandson. Mind you we were 75% finished with another car when he said "papa I want to build a diffenent cac" so I said "draw one bud". Next thing I know he drew a Banana with wheels so here it is. Made a bibg impression at the race but once again to car failed to trip the lights as fast as it shoujld have. I auctualy wittnessed him winning one race by 1/2 a car length and loosing to the #2 car by 1-100 of a second. Got to get the finish problem figured out.

A side view. He worked many hours on this one. I did the shaping and green air brush work and he did all of the primer sanding, yellow, and most of the banana brown marks using a paint marker.

Car was faster that both of the previous cars and looked great. He named it the "Feet Slipper" which was painted on top.

Kirk - now I am working on the girl scout cars for their Pinewood derby at the end of April. I am having 7 girls over on Friday to do the build. Will post pics when my daughter gets her car done.

Last year she wanted Optimus Prime!
Don't know how she did in the standings because the girl scouts don't want "dramma" between members. What does that teach them? Oh well.
