Power lost in Drivetrain

Does anyone have an actual engine dyno and rear wheel dyno of there car? I am trying to determine how much power is lost through the drivetrain.

I understand that around 18% is average. My engine builder is trying to tell me that I am losing as much as 25%. Is this possible?

We covered this awhile back. Figure I came away with after all was said and done was 23% loss.

Take chassis dyno figure and multiply by 1.3

Or take FWHP and multiply by .77

The few times over the years that I have seen both a Pantera's crankshaft & rear wheel bhp numbers published together, the difference suprisingly always computed to 19%. I tend to round that off to 20% as a fudge factor.

Any additional weight added anywhere in the drive train will create a greater difference; i.e. heaveir wheels or tires, heavier axles, heavier half shafts.
