Ram-air Scoop

Hey guys. Just finishing up on the ram-air system I made. I copied Goram Malbergs box and used a "boxer" scoop to gather the air. Sorry for the crap photo's. I'm going to wrap the wing with 3M carbon fiber. Should give me a few more ponies to deal with those "poutine eatin" Frenchies in this summers shoot-out.

I like the fact the inlet of the scoop doesn't show to much - nice solution!

On the other hand, I wouldn't like to look at a box in my rear view mirror, unless it were a box of chocolate cookies

That looks awesome, buddy ... but I think you should throw some 'dog ears' on the rear side windows with tubes running directly into your 'carb' apperatus ... because I don't think you're making enough horse (read: Will scared the shit out of me with a 200+ km/h pass on the Rocky Tour last summer) ...

oh, and there was no beer captured in your photos ...

Pat Mical of Performance Auto Technology in Tyngsboro, MA offers a kind of similar scoop, though it actually extends over the roof to the windshield.

I can only find one photo of it on his site, right on the opening page.
