I'll ask the stupid question. From what I "can see" there is an outer bearing, inner bearing, and sleeve between the two. Ok, you remove the outer bearing "retainer" (which took an impact screwdriver OBTW) and now what?

If both outer and inner are pressed into the carrier and stop 23mm or 18mm (their thickness) inside the unit on a ledge of sorts, from opposit sides, how do they get pressed back out?

(Asking this before I take it somewhere, or, I may just add another tool.....aka press......to my collection)

Never had a problem with getting bearings out of the upright. The always tapped out with a brass punch from in the center hole. It is getting them off the axle that is difficult.

Also, replace those philips head flat head screws retaining the outer bearing with Allen head screws. Makes them much easier to remove and install.
