Roller rocker question

Is there any significance to the color of roller rockers? This is the motor that was in the wreck that I bought. It had been sitting for a few years, but started right up. Didn't make any funny noises or blow any smoke. It sounded very nice and also has a nicer cam in it. It looks like I'm going to put this in my car since my motor is a stock unit.

Thereis no significance to the color of roller rockers, each manufacturer has their own choice of color.

The differences in color most likely indicate that some of the rockers have broken and required replacing. Which may spell future trouble for you should you choose to put the motor into service as is. Not all roller rockers are of the same quality, the best are machined from billet aluminum and heat treated. The less expensive ones are made from cast aluminum.

Any indication of the ratio marked on them ... you may want to consider a freshen up like gaskets and check the cam spec before putting it in the car...never know ??? no everyone has has good work habits.
