As mentioned in another post, we're planning a trip to Classic Le Mans in July. Le Mans isn't exactly next door to Nice, but it might make a nice road trip.

Ah south of France ... I rented a house in Fre Jus ..and boy was that great ... spent time in Nice and Cannes ... wow some beaches. Drank a little too much Vino ... but I have to say it was great only all I had was a rented 4 banger.

I should have my deauville back on the road before May next year, which is when I will be travelling to my dad. He lives in Cotignac, which is about 20 minutes from Brignoles. That should be close enough for you to do a rendez-vous, right?

This sunday (afternoon) august the 12 I will visit the automobile museum of Mougins (near Cannes on the highway from Nice to Cannes).

It's a Triumph spitfire MK II. A friend from Monaco bought it in Holland. The precedent owner rebuild it totaly. Good job for a wonderful car.

Gary, where did you get those scoops on the side of the car, for fresh air to be forced in the engine room.
I want to create an airbox for my car, and those scoops wil help me a little.
