Seeking CHP Mustang photo | The De Tomaso Forums

I have a friend who is not on this list who has done a full nuts-and-bolts-and-radio-and-shotgun-and-lights restoration of an '86 CHP Mustang.

He has searched far and wide on the web, police websites, collector car websites and has come up empty.

He wants a photo of a CHP Mustang in this style, at the side of a road with some poor soul pulled over, getting written up.

If you perhaps have one in your own collection from some unfortunate episode, or know of one on the web, he would surely like to hear from you.

Wow, what a flashback! I bought my 1982 Mustang GT because I felt that if it was durable enough for the CHP, it was durable enough for me.

However, by the 1986 model year I think that the CHP had no longer used the Mustang as a pursuit vehicle.

OTOH, I could very possibly be wrong.
