I have found I have two destroyed shock bushings in the shock that took the brunt of the impact in my accident of '03. Nice of the vendor who did the 'precision' repairs to notice, eh?

Hard steel ball with machined aluminum spacers to match the shock tower dimensions. Broken parts are the composite races the balls ride in. I imagine the ball/race comes as a replacement unit and I'll swap out the spacers and re-assemble.

Anyhow, I will call Koni on Monday, but does anyone know another source for these?

He ought to be - the shocks are from him for a previous owner. Wink

Some more websearching last night found these to be a fairly standard "1" Teflon bearing". I would like to do an exact swap over so I don't need to modify the aluminum spacers.

Perhaps I'll give Becky a call first - however, thinking I saw some damage to the bearing a few months ago, I asked Dennis and he suggested just going direct to Koni, leading me to believe he didn't shelf-stock the bearing.
