We had a blast at the Franklin Museum.
A nice turnout of cars, with three Panteras, a Ferrari Daytona and two Fiats. There was a lot of great cars to look at, with fascinating docents who really knew about the cars.
One of our favorites was a guy who had personally done many of the restorations, and when he was an 8 year old kid, hung around the place, and "helped" with te repair and restoration of some of the vehicles. He still lives in the neighborhood.
As you may know, Franklin Automobiles were luxury vehicles, all using air-cooled motors (several models were equipped with V-12s). They were state of the art luxury cruisers for the time.
I am attaching a single picture of our group, and the rest of the pictures can be seen in the attached slideshow.
