The dash end of the tachometer reset doesn’t have enough threads after leather upholstery, is there a replacement end or replacement cable that has longer threads?
any ideas?

Long night.. trip reset on speedometer
You may have to trim the upholstery around the nut.

For posterity, and for others, all you need to do is get a Dremel and grind down the backside of the fiberglass – until it is thin enough to get the nut to thread on
