Did Santa bring you some cash in addition to all those under-the-tree packages?

I currently have three NOS Carello sets - two showing the common goldening of the chrome reflectors but one is as perfect as the day they left Carello. $500 and $650, respectively.

I also have rebuilt housings and new and used lenses. If you have GRP 4 needs, I can handle it.

I also have the two color GT5 / GT5S front turn signals that work on any L-model Pantera. Complete with all you need to install - $125.

For the month of January, I'll include shipping for USA addresses.

Here's to a great New Year for everyone.

Larry

Hi Larry,

I too have/had NOS Carellos sets with that right side reflector “goldening”. I am pretty sure this is a factory flaw during a production run in a certain period. I have seen at least 4 of these “golden” buckets and these were tail lights still in their original Carello boxes un toughed over the years..

There is another production flaw (if you noticed?) on the left side below the turn lens on the euro lenses (orange) there is a 2 inch “red” slash/line. Seen at least 4 lenses with this “birth mark”

Good luck & happy new year.

Keep up the great work

Robert
I have come to believe the golden tone, on left and right, is due to some sort of outgassing from the black rubber gaskets, brought on by storage in high heat areas, perhaps? I just can't believe that Carello would have let them out of the factory with that issue - and I've seen it in varying shades; ever so slight like one set I have, and just about fully gold on another.

Only noticed in the clear back-up lens area when installed; easily corrected with a repainting of the housings using the chrome/aluminum paint I use on my restored housings.

Yup, seen a few of those myself. Not really noticed when installed unless looking for it. But holding the lenses in your hand, polishing off the shelf wear you do notice them.
