The 'New" De Tomaso

If this has already been discussed please point me to the thread.

For those who attended Reno, please tell me what the buzz is about the new DeTomaso. Are they still planning on introducing an SUV and sedan before a sports car?

Any high dollar SUV seems like a huge mistake. Last I looked the SUV market was on a major downward slide. Outside of Land Rover are any extreme high end SUV selling. And Rover sales are way down. Same for Porsche Cayenne. Is anyone planning on introducing a new exotic SUV in the near future?

Who is going to run out and spend my guess $80K + for a De Tomaso SUV? IMHO it would only make sense to bring out the new Pantera first. Hopefully it is a huge success and than you build a sedan. The SUV seems like a loser period.
