The rebirth of DeTomaso Article

I just received the new PIM bulletin #3.It is very nice. There is an article written by Wallace Wyss about the new owner of the DeTomaso brand. It shows a few concept pics of a potential new Pantera. It shows NO original Pantera styling and IMHO looks like crap. They would be far ahead and have a real winner with the Panthera concept car.

I like the look of the new car. It doesn't seem like a concept that will make it to market unless the new owners are very bold.

It would be a shame to see a car come out that is "Pantera" in name only. I hope they keep some design cues from the original.

I'm a little surprised that you don't see any of the original in the concept. I thought it was one of the better concepts to honor the original, especially the red side profile pic. The windshield and roof line are very similar. IMHO

Uh, that is a Pantera concept car in the PIM bulletin.

And there is a new owner of the De Tomaso name.

But that car, in the PIM bulletin, designed by Tibor Juhasz Pecoraio, was done back in 2004 and has ZERO connection to the new owner of De Tomaso.
