The lights look great! speaking of lights, I have a set of Pia's off a Vette, that had a fixed light set up. Not a plug in, but a good start for a Pantera conversion kit. I'll post them in the parts forum if anybody is interested.

Bill those are the Kirk Evans lights. I got on board last year & took advantage of the introductory discount Mr Evans offered, I paid $700. Yes, you have to modify the holes in the head light buckets.

I seem to recall reading recently that Kirk had extended his introductory special discount offer on these lights for a while longer. I just cannot remember when I read it and for how long teh offer was valid. At $695 they look a great buy.

Mark M, I agree with you, I like them too. In fact Mark (devil) I did go back, but it was a bunch of work!

When I installed my Amerisport lights, I cut them carefully with a Dremel. You really cut little out to install these. What I did cut out, I saved. If I were crazy enough to want to go back to orginal, it would take a little welding, grinding and paint but they would be back to stock. The wiring is unchanged and the motor stop adjustment just adds a removable block. But I will tell you once installed, sitting in the drivers seat you almost don't see the light doors up when they are on. Also the big plus, when those lights are on, you can see everything that you never saw before driving at night with the old lights !! You can see other pictures in the Photo gallery. I do have step up step photos if anyone needs them.

That's a fair amount of metal cutting! I think I'll keep the Pantera's original look...

I say if you like the look of the new lamps, go for it! My suggestion is to make a patern of the lamp face, if the time comes to change back, it makes it a lot easier to duplicate the new face mounting panel. it really wasn't that hard, just a "little" fabrcication, welding, body filler, and paint! LOL

No thanks. The original look doesn't bother me at all.

I like the original too. I would like to update the bulb for a brighter lite.

I moved them from car to car until i finally let them go with a 70 Camaro.. They were flat in front and looked European.. I wish now I had kept them. Really bright too.

Thats them! I just looked on ebay, heck, you can get a set for under $50. I just went out and turned mine on. I was going to chase down some wiring because the did not come on. But when i turn the ignition they lit right up . I guess I forgot that the switch has to be on for the main bulbs to burn, on my car anyway. I put in halogen sealed beams when I painted and have never turned them on since. If i could stay out of the Pub in the evenings i might even try to drive it at nite.....Just remember in south carolina the deer run wild in the streets at night. ( I make my living fixin' what they run into.) Just please don't be me.

Bill, I make my living the same way, except here in the sunshine state everybody is too busy talking on there cell phones and they bounce off each other, instead of deer

You can always stay with the 7" round lights and put in H4 Hellas or after market motorcycle h4 lights. They are flat in the front. They have that nice sharp cut off and alittle higher on the right side beam so you can read the speed limit signs!
