Does anyone have any "Pantera specific" information about the late hockey player's Pantera? A reporter from Ottawa (see the "Canadian DeTomaso Forum") is doing a story on him & it would be very interesting to have some info on the car he was driving when he crashed into the median gaurdrail (reports say he was doing over 100) in St. catharines & died. Does anyone know this vehicle? Is it still around? Sounds like an interesting story, let's see if we can help him out!

i live in st.catharines and have and had a pantera. locally, the story goes that he lost control at the ontario street exit and wiped to the lake street exit, which is about a half mile. he was thrown through the window and killed. creepy when you think about how the guy was a hockey player over six foot tall and went out the tiny window. the car went to a local small wrecking yard which is no longer there. it happened in 74. i know because i tried to find the car to get parts. everyone in this town seems to claim to have seen the accident and or the car. he was apparently being chased by the heat. others claim he ran over a spike strip and thereby lost control. people claim he was doing over 120 but the only one who knows for sure is tim horton who is now eating doughnuts in the afterlife
