tires sourcing for GT5

There are no high-speed-rated tires that fit your 15" wheels and haven't been for a couple of years. There are lower rated tires for around-town stuff, and a few guys have (after a lot of phone calls around the country), found left-overs here 'n there. As for the Pantera 200 stuff, the only vendor I know that makes & sells such is Pat Michel at www.patsauto.com in Massachusetts.

Nelson, I run a GT5S and it took me a month to find a pair of 285 x 40 x 15 tires. If you can find any, you will have to pay up to $500 each for them. I'm looking for another pair to put into stock or I will have to go to 17" wheels in a year or so. The rears 345 x 35 x 15 are available, although in very short supply. I've just bought 4. No you can't have them. Best go to 17" to save all the grief of running on slicks. Good luck.
