Well, I'm about to give up on trying to locate the Toyo Proxes S/T 295/50HR-15 tires. I've spent several days on the computer and phone with no luck. Anybody know where I can find two of these tires? PM me if you do. Thanks.
I did call Toyo customer relations (800-442-8696) to see if they had some way of checking their dealers' inventories. They didn't but they did check their own (Toyo's) warehouse to see if there might be one or two left. No luck. I was told that the S/T had been replaced by the S/T II, but not in 15". I was told that Toyo was looking into making several of the 15" sizes, but nothing had been decided at this time.
I asked about logging some sort of "complaint" about these tires being discontinued and was told that all phone calls concerning this sort of issue are passed on for review. Hopefully not to the circular file!
Maybe if enough of us call and "complain", Toyo might starting making these tires again. There are a lot of cars out there that use this 295/50HR-15 tire....Pantera, Cobra, GT40, Muscle cars, etc.
Maybe I just got a load of BS from Toyo, but I think that they do listen.
