It's official!!!
We have contracted with an Australian manufacture to provide us the correct Hi-Flo thermostat for the 351C/351M/400 engines.
BONUS...we are getting these made in (3) different ranges. 160, 180 & 195.
***Track Boss Products will be the only supplier of a Hi-Flo Cleveland thermostat in the world, that has all 3 temp ranges***
*Please remember 351M/400 do not need the by-pass restrictor.*
We "should" see inventory within 1-2 months...
$29 for the thermostat, $20 for the by-pass restrictor, $45 for both.
Please feel free to share, we feel this is really big news for the Cleveland family.

I purchased the orifice for my Pantera's engine from a member of this forum, named Marlin. He's been making them and selling them for about a decade. They are identical to the original, which your orifice isn't. Marlin began selling thermostats a couple of years ago, when they were no longer available from Flow Kooler. You're not offering anything new, you're joining the game late. And you're stepping on the toes of a fellow Pantera owner whom I respect, which doesn't appeal to me. I plan to remain loyal to Marlin.

I also have purchased from Marlin in the past. I also respect him for being a hobbyist business man who found a niche that his skills allowed him to fill.

But what Tim Meyers is offering is called fair and honest competition, a normal occurrence in American capitalism.

And while Tim's bypass block-off plate may not be an exact duplicate of the original part, I have no doubt the critical dimensions have been retained to allow proper function.

My 2¢

I see it as a required necessity that TMeyers provide a source for expendable parts if he plans to market a classic design.
I knew this would probably come up...
It is simple.
We make a Cleveland block.
It requires a by-pass restrictor
It also uses a thermostat
If we were not making a block, this would not be a subject.
What made me decide to make them in house, is FloKooler came out with a package of 330-180 & by-pass restrictor as a combo for $49. I already purchase the water pumps & stats from them. But this particular package they were not willing to give a dealer pricing on.

If this post is dis-respectful, please feel free to delete it.
First sample batch of Hi-Flo thermostats for the "335" family.
These are 180 degree stats
This is one example TMeyer is working hard to be your "Cleveland connection"
Plan is to offer 160, 180 & 195 degree thermostats in the Track Boss Product line.
Stay tuned for more...And as always, feel free to share.
***These six are not for sale yet. We need to inspect to see if they are the spec we want***

That's great- to actually have real Cleveland parts again available after so many 'discontinued' notices!

My personal on-the-road experiments in our Pantera indicate that in stock blocks, the engine water temp does NOT depend on what rating thermostat you run. They all gave virtually the same stabilized water temp after 50 or so road miles. Maybe Mustangs & Galaxies behave differently.
Thank you Tim for offering to the Cleveland enthusiast another option.
I appreciate your efforts and dedication to a limitted group and small market.
About six months ago I was going to start selling High Flow Cleveland correct thermostats for a fair price, I decided it was not worth my time given I was going to make a few dollars on each unit. I located a source in Australia and I was able to get them for a less than half the price (including shipping) than the current one available in the US. I don't understand the bashing when Tim has been a major force in promoting and keeping the Cleveland alive.
